Public trains run every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, every Sunday in January and most public holidays.
Trains will usually be hauled by 1909 built "A" Class "Pacific" steam locomotive number 428, the only one of it's type still operational.
In unforeseen circumstances, for reapairs or during exceptional fire risk in summer months, "A428" may be replaced
without prior notice.
